Text Representations and Tokenization: Implementation of modern techniques such as Byte-Pair Encoding (BPE) and dense Word Embeddings, as well as statistical baselines such as TF-IDF and Bag-of-Words for search systems.

Transformer Architectures: Exploration of the attention mechanism and state-of-the-art models, including Encoder-only (BERT/BERTimbau) and Decoder-only/Encoder-Decoder (T5 and GPT family).

Prompt Engineering: Instruction in advanced inference techniques, such as Zero-shot, Few-shot, and Chain-of-Thought (CoT), aimed at contextual learning and multi-step reasoning.

RAG Systems and Agents: Development of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for knowledge anchoring and hallucination reduction in LLMs, as well as an introduction to the use of autonomous agents and external tools.
